Eastern Bank faces criticism from activist investor HoldCo over capital allocation
An activist investor on Monday criticized Eastern Bank for “capital misallocation” and responded to comments from executive chair, Bob Rivers, on Friday over the shareholders’ reported efforts to push for a sale of the bank.
