Eastern Bank shareholder pushing for sale of company, report claims
A shareholder at the parent company of Eastern Bank is pushing for the company to put itself up for sale, according to a media report Friday morning, but the bank’s CEO says the bank hasn’t spoken with that shareholder about a sale.
