FTC sues to block Kroger’s planned $24.6 billion acquisition of Albertsons

The Federal Trade Commission has filed a lawsuit today to block Kroger Co.’s planned $24.6 billion acquisition of Albertsons Cos. Inc., which owns grocery chains Star Market and Shaw’s.
