Hyundai reportedly acquiring Boston Dynamics for nearly $1B

Earlier this year, the Waltham-based company announced the commercial launch of Spot, its dog-like robot that can climb stairs, traverse rough terrain and be adapted to perform a variety of tasks (including dancing, per Boston Dynamics’ official YouTube channel). A Spot Explorer robot currently retails for $74,500.
