Mass. businesses sue insurers for Covid-19 coverage

Legal Sea Foods isn’t the only local business headed to court over insurers’ refusal to pay out on business interruption policies. Business owners across Massachusetts have expressed frustration with insurers’ refusal to cover losses they’ve sustained because of the government-ordered closure of their businesses. The lawsuits come as Beacon Hill lawmakers have asked the state’s congressional delegation for help in securing business interruption insurance coverage for Massachusetts businesses.
