MassMutual Ventures gets $100M for fourth U.S. fund

MassMutual Ventures announced its fourth U.S. investment fund, once again worth $100 million. The venture capital arm of Springfield insurance giant MassMutual focuses on the Series A stage, cutting checks between $2 million and $5 million on average, but its strategy is to begin making connections with interesting companies well in advance.
