Newton Innovation Center to close as Workbar eyes Route 128 ‘target market’

Newton Mayor Ruthanne Fuller announced the closing of the Newton Innovation Center, a co-working space located at the former Newton Corner library, citing the enormous expansion of the co-working industry in the past few years. The closure comes as Newton-Needham-Waltham area has become a target market for local co-working chain Workbar.
