Price hikes offset inflation for Gillette parent P&G, earnings beat Wall Street expectations

Price hikes helped protect Cincinnati-based Procter & Gamble’s streak of strong organic sales from the drag of inflation, but the parent company of Boston-based shaving giant Gillette did warn that it expects lower overall sales this year.
