State targets dozens of businesses over alleged Covid-19 violations

While the Baker administration hasn’t leveled fines, it has sent cease-and-desist orders to more than 60 businesses in Massachusetts in recent weeks for failing to shut down their operations and, in a few cases, for potentially putting worker or customer safety at risk.
