Senior Director, Finance Transformation – Fortune 500 Company

Base Salary: $250,000 - $300,000

Total Compensation: $450,000 - $500,000

Overview

A large, complex Fortune 500 organization is building a dedicated Finance Transformation and Systems function to support a multi-year modernization of its global finance technology landscape. This newly created Senior Director role will lead enterprise-wide initiatives across financial systems, processes, and data: owning strategy, execution, stabilization, and continuous improvement.

This is a highly visible leadership role with direct exposure to senior finance and technology stakeholders. The environment is challenging, fast-moving, and global in scope, with strong executive sponsorship and an established team already in place.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the enterprise finance transformation roadmap across ERP, EPM/PPM, and related financial applications
  • Lead system implementations and enhancements supporting global close, consolidation, planning, forecasting, reporting, and workforce planning
  • Establish post-launch stabilization, governance, and enhancement frameworks to ensure system performance and adoption
  • Define and maintain finance data governance, including master data definitions, hierarchies, rules, and controls
  • Partner closely with senior Finance and IT leaders to align technology capabilities with business strategy
  • Drive process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement across finance operations
  • Support growth initiatives including acquisitions, divestitures, and new entity setup from a finance systems perspective
  • Oversee vendor and systems integrator relationships, including delivery quality, timelines, and outcomes

Qualifications

  • Pprogressive finance leadership experience with significant ownership of finance systems and transformation initiatives
  • Deep experience leading large-scale ERP and EPM implementations in complex, global environments
  • Strong background supporting manufacturing, operations, and supply chain–driven businesses
  • Demonstrated success building governance models, operating frameworks, and scalable finance systems
  • Executive-level communication skills with the ability to influence across Finance, IT, and Operations
  • Results-oriented leader comfortable operating in high-visibility, high-change environments
