Accounting Manager, Revenue and Financial Reporting

Base Salary: $130,000 - $150,000
We are seeking an Accounting Manager, Revenue and Financial Reporting to join a premier global alternative investment platform. This is a highly visible leadership role within the Corporate Finance organization supporting Capital Markets businesses.
This position sits at the center of revenue recognition, receivables oversight, expense allocations, and financial reporting for a complex, multi-strategy investment platform. You will lead day-to-day revenue operations, manage and develop a team, and partner directly with senior finance leadership and business stakeholders to ensure accuracy, transparency, and operational excellence.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a technically strong accounting professional coming from public accounting and/or a asset management or investment advisor environment who wants exposure to senior leadership, complex investment structures, and a platform known for developing high-performing finance talent.
Note to auditors: No financial services experience required (must have strong ASC 606 alternatively)

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee accurate and timely revenue recognition across multiple investment strategies in accordance with applicable accounting standards and firm policies
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes related to revenue and associated balance sheet accounts
- Manage receivables reconciliations, cash application processes, and collections oversight to enhance visibility and strengthen controls
- Oversee complex expense allocation and reimbursable processes across deal, fund, and portfolio company activity
- Review and enhance internal financial reporting provided to senior management, including support for annual audited financial statements and covenant reporting
- Lead and develop direct reports while coordinating effectively with offshore accounting resources
- Contribute to process redesign, documentation standards, system enhancements, and automation initiatives to strengthen infrastructure and scalability
Qualifications
- CPA and/or Master’s degree preferred
- Significant accounting experience within public accounting, asset management, or investment advisory environments
- Strong understanding of investments, partnerships, and management company accounting
- Experience managing direct reports
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to balance hands-on execution and process improvement
