Senior Associate, Private Equity Deal Operations

We are seeking a Senior Associate, PE Deal Operations to join a top-tier global alternative investment platform. This role sits within a highly visible private equity finance function focused on transaction execution, SPV oversight, and full investment lifecycle support.

You will play a central role in operationalizing transactions from close through exit, partnering closely with deal teams, treasury, tax, legal, and external administrators to ensure accurate execution and reporting across complex deal structures.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong finance professional coming from private equity fund finance, investment operations, transaction services, or Big 4 audit who wants deeper exposure to live deals and structured investments within a premier buy-side platform. Key Responsibilities

• Transaction & Deal Execution: Support the operational execution of acquisitions, add-ons, restructurings, and exits by coordinating funding logistics, capital calls, distributions, and cross-functional workflows to ensure transactions close accurately and efficiently.
• SPV Oversight & Reporting: Oversee SPV entities throughout the investment lifecycle, including financial statement review, audit coordination, cash monitoring, expense tracking, and responding to internal and investor-related inquiries.
• Operational & Analytical Support: Maintain data integrity across custody and internal reporting systems while supporting ad hoc financial analysis and driving process improvements to enhance efficiency and controls.

Qualifications

• Experience in private equity, fund finance, investment operations, transaction services, consulting, Big 4 audit, or a related environment
• Strong understanding of private equity deal processes and fund structures
• Experience supporting capital activity (capital calls, distributions, wire logistics) preferred
• Advanced Excel skills and strong organizational capabilities
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment
• CPA or progress toward designation is a plus
