Procurement Specialist – Indirect Spend (ESG & HR)

Location: Boston, Massachusetts

Workspace Type: Hybrid

Base Salary: $90,000 - $125,000

Total Compensation: $120,000 - $160,000

Responsibilities:

  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders across functions such as, HR, Communications, ESG, etc.
  • Develop and implement innovative category strategies to maximize the value of supplier relationships
  • Advance the procurement organization by driving process improvements and enhancing efficiency
  • Lead negotiations to optimize pricing and contracts across multiple indirect spend categories
  • Support supplier diversity initiatives and monitor performance across spend categories
  • Create workpapers and documentation relied upon by internal teams and external parties
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders while ensuring compliance with procurement policies

 

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of applicable procurement experience; experience managing supplier diversity programs and multiple indirect spend categories is a plus
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High attention to detail, ability to multitask, and provide timely status updates
  • Proficiency with Excel and ability to analyze and present data effectively
  • Strong business acumen with the curiosity to learn new categories and drive impact
  • Team-oriented mindset and enthusiasm for working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
