Senior FP&A Systems Analyst

Base Salary: $110,000 - $175,000
We’re partnering with a large, highly respected global public company that’s looking to add a Senior FP&A Systems Analyst to its Corporate FP&A team. This is a unique role for someone who understands FP&A but also enjoys building, improving, and owning the systems behind the planning process.
The company is in the middle of a significant ERP and cloud-based planning transformation, and this person will play an important role in the migration, testing, go-live, and ongoing administration of its planning environment. The role will sit directly between FP&A and IT, translating Finance requirements into system solutions while improving data quality, reporting, forecasting, and planning workflows.
Longer term, the position will have meaningful ownership over the planning platform and help drive automation, scenario modeling, and process improvement across a sophisticated global FP&A organization.
Responsibilities
- FP&A systems ownership: Serve as a key administrator and functional owner of the company’s cloud-based financial planning platform.
- ERP & planning transformation: Support system migration, UAT, release testing, go-live readiness, and post-implementation stabilization.
- Finance/IT partnership: Translate FP&A requirements into system configurations and work closely with IT on enhancements and technical solutions.
- Planning & forecasting: Manage forecast workflows, assumptions, scenario architecture, allocations, and other inputs supporting budgeting and forecasting.
- Data governance: Maintain strong data integrity across ERP and planning systems, including reconciliations, audit trails, and controls.
- Automation & improvement: Identify opportunities to eliminate manual Excel-based processes and improve the scalability and efficiency of FP&A workflows.
- User support: Train and support Finance users while maintaining system access, permissions, and governance.
Qualifications
- Progressive experience within FP&A, financial systems, finance transformation
- Strong understanding of FP&A processes, including budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, allocations, and financial reporting
- Hands-on experience with ERP and/or cloud-based planning platforms such as Oracle, Hyperion/Essbase, EPM, Anaplan, Workday Adaptive Planning, or similar tools
- Experience with financial system implementations, migrations, UAT, or process improvement initiatives strongly preferred
- Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field
