Client Specialist – Boutique Investment Manager

Base Salary: $85,000 - $105,000
We’re partnering with a highly respected boutique investment advisory firm that’s looking to add an experienced Client Relations & Investment Services professional to its team. This is a broad, hands-on position combining investor support, investment operations, and day-to-day office coordination within a close-knit environment. It’s an ideal opportunity for an experienced professional who enjoys working directly with clients, keeping an office organized, and taking ownership of the many details that help a smaller investment firm operate successfully.

Responsibilities
- Welcome clients and visitors and serve as the primary point of contact for the Boston office.
- Answer and direct incoming calls, emails, and general inquiries.
- Support investor communications, meeting preparation, follow-up items, and information requests.
- Assist with client onboarding, account documentation, subscriptions, redemptions, and other operational activity.
- Coordinate with custodians, administrators, investment professionals, and outside service providers.
- Help prepare client materials, reports, presentations, and correspondence.
- Maintain accurate client records, contact information, and internal documentation.
- Coordinate calendars, meetings, conference rooms, travel, and occasional client events.
- Manage office supplies, vendors, mail, deliveries, and other day-to-day office needs.
- Support senior team members with administrative and operational projects as needed.
Your Background
- Relevant experience in investment management, wealth management, financial services, client service, executive support, office management, or a related environment.
- Prior experience supporting investors, financial accounts, or investment operations is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a polished, professional approach.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive; someone who takes pride in creating a positive experience for clients and colleagues.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and taking ownership within a smaller office.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- A dependable, flexible, and low-ego professional who enjoys wearing multiple hats and contributing wherever needed.
