Compliance VP – Credit & Private Investments | Boston (hybrid)

A leading global investment platform with $100B+ AUM is seeking an Investment Compliance VP to join its growing Boston office. This is a high-visibility role supporting the firm’s expanding private credit and private investment activity, with the opportunity to sit close to the deal process and partner directly with investment professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as part of the firm’s Control Room: conflicts clearance, wall-crossing, restricted list oversight, and MNPI management.
• Review and negotiate deal-related NDAs and support transaction onboarding.
• Partner with investment teams on pipeline activity, identifying and mitigating conflicts across public and private markets.
• Support integration of compliance technology platforms and data migration.
• Contribute to regulatory analysis, policy updates, and broader compliance initiatives.

Qualifications:

• JD required (to manage NDA execution and legal issue spotting).
• Experience of relevant compliance or legal experience, ideally with control room exposure at an investment bank.
• Strong commercial understanding of deals, structures, and capital markets; more important than pure “check-the-box” compliance.
• Experience handling MNPI/conflicts processes and familiarity with deal onboarding.
• Ambitious, detail-oriented, and motivated to grow within a buy-side environment.
