Corporate Accounting Analyst – Leading Hedge Fund

We are seeking a Corporate Accounting Analyst to join a Leading Hedge Fund in Downtown Boston that offers a great entry point to a hedge fund, a multifaceted role that offers numerous areas for learning and career development, and excellent mentors from top firms who like to teach.
 

Company, Position & Team Highlights

  • Excellent visibility with Executive leadership at ~$15bn Hedge Fund with cross-functional partnerships with FP&A, Tax, Payroll, Legal, Compliance
  • Reporting to a great Manager & working closely with the Controller to account for executive investments, including processing unique accounting transactions, supporting monthly close, helping prepare documentation for tax filings (e.g., K-1) & financial reporting, and optimizing financial records. Plus, special projects (e.g., process improvements / transformation)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or other applicable field (required) Graduate degree is a plus
  • 2+ years of experience – may come from Public Accounting / Tax for alternative investment clients, Corporate Accounting for mid-to-large size firms, or Outsourced Accounting / Advisory (alternative investments experience preferred, but not required)
  • Impeccable professionalism, both in communication & presentation, is highly valued
