Fund Finance, Accounting and Valuation – Senior Associate (Private Equity)

We are seeking a driven professional at Senior Associate level with desire to work within a Private Equity finance, fund accounting & valuation function. The position is wide in scope – includes private equity fund accounting, treasury & cash flow management, collaborating with investment team on portfolio company valuations, collaborating with investor relations on presentation materials and fundraising, financial reporting, performance analysis, helping with deal closing projects, coordinating with taxation team and more.

This role is part of an amazing team with excellent mentorship above and the advancement opportunities are plentiful.

***The company doesn’t expect candidates to know how to perform all of the responsibilities from day 1, however there should be interest to learn and ramp up on the complexities of the business. Ramp up takes about 1 year, and is achieved through formal trainings, shadowing peers, manager mentorship, starting with simpler funds before progressing to more complex structures.

Qualifications:

  1. 2+ years of relevant experience.
  2. Audit, Tax, Valuation, Finance or Fund Accounting experience is very helpful. (The team is willing to train on the job, there is awesome mentorship in this group)
  3. Project management skills, attention to detail and ability to multi-task are essential
  4. Strong Excel skills, other experience with tools such as Alteryx and ability to learn new systems is very helpful
  5. Can do attitude, excellent communication skills with desire to learn!

Total compensation package is: $120k-$150k annually.
