Manager, Fund Finance & Accounting – PE Industry Leader
Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Workspace Type: Hybrid
Base Salary: $130,000 - $155,000
We are working on a Manager-level opening within the fund finance organization of a premier global private markets firm. The team supports a large, firmwide co-investment platform with exposure across private equity, credit, growth, real assets, and other alternative investment strategies.
Because the platform touches a broad mix of funds, entities, transactions, and investment structures, this is a much wider seat than a traditional fund accounting position. The Manager will own complex investment partnerships and work across accounting, operations, tax, transaction analysis, investor reporting, and strategic projects. The role also provides regular interaction with investment professionals, senior finance leaders, legal, compliance, technology, and outside advisors.
The team is particularly interested in Big 4 Audit or Tax Managers with strong partnership foundations, especially those who have supported private equity, hedge fund, asset management, or other alternative investment clients. Experience with K-1s, partnership allocations, capital accounts, and complex investment structures translates extremely well. Candidates do not need to already hold a fund finance title.
For someone coming from Big 4 tax, this is a rare opportunity to move closer to the funds themselves rather than continuing to advise them from the outside. It is a true transition into fund finance, but one where the partnership and tax knowledge already developed remains highly relevant and valued.

- Generous employer-funded profit-sharing program
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
- Strong retirement and financial wellness benefits
