Senior Financial Analyst, Global Strategy & Planning

We’re partnering with a highly respected global technology and manufacturing company that’s looking to add a Senior Analyst to its Corporate FP&A team with a focus on strategic finance, long-term planning, and business decision support. This role will partner closely with finance and business leaders to evaluate growth opportunities, understand business performance, and help shape investment and operating decisions. It’s an ideal next step for someone with strong FP&A fundamentals who enjoys digging into what drives a business and wants broader ownership of financial modeling, strategic analysis, and recommendations that influence company direction. - Help shape strategy: Support long-term financial planning and evaluate growth initiatives, investment opportunities, and business priorities.

Responsibilities
- Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives, business cases, and investment decisions.
- Support long-term planning, annual budgeting, and forecasting in partnership with Corporate FP&A and business teams.
- Analyze revenue, margins, operating expenses, and key business drivers to identify risks and opportunities.
- Build scenario and sensitivity analyses to evaluate potential outcomes and inform leadership decisions.
- Partner with business leaders to assess growth opportunities, resource needs, and financial tradeoffs.
- Prepare leadership presentations that translate complex analysis into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
- Track performance against strategic plans and investment assumptions, highlighting where adjustments may be needed.
- Improve financial reporting, planning processes, and analytical tools to strengthen decision support across the organization.
Your Background
- Progressive experience in FP&A, strategic finance, corporate finance, or a related analytical role.
- Strong understanding of forecasting, budgeting, financial statements, and the operational drivers behind business performance.
- Hands-on experience building financial models, evaluating business cases, and conducting scenario analysis.
- Experience partnering with business stakeholders and presenting findings to finance or operating leaders.
- Background in a global technology, manufacturing, or similarly complex business is a strong plus.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with planning platforms and data visualization tools is a plus.
- Analytical, commercially curious, and comfortable working through open-ended business questions.
- Someone who enjoys understanding the story behind the numbers, challenging assumptions, and helping leaders make better decisions.
