Senior Project Manager – Finance Transformation | MetroWest (hybrid)

Base Salary: $135,000 - $165,000

A global, publicly traded organization is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead high-impact Finance transformation initiatives, with an initial focus on a large-scale SAP S/4HANA ERP deployment in the United States.

This is a highly visible role for a seasoned project leader who thrives at the intersection of Finance, Technology, and enterprise change, and who enjoys driving complex initiatives from strategy through execution.

The Opportunity

You will play a critical role in modernizing Finance operations for a large, complex organization, partnering closely with senior leaders across Finance, Accounting, Shared Services, and IT. The scope is enterprise-wide, fast-paced, and materially important to the business.

This role is ideal for someone who has led ERP or large Finance transformation programs and wants true ownership, visibility, and long-term career upside.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Finance-side project and program management activities for a major SAP S/4HANA deployment
  • Own timelines, deliverables, dependencies, risk management, and executive communications
  • Facilitate workshops and drive cross-functional problem solving to ensure alignment and adoption
  • Partner with senior Finance and business leaders to improve processes, scalability, and efficiency
  • Act as a key liaison between Finance and Technology teams
  • Drive execution in a matrixed, global environment with competing priorities

What We’re Looking For

  • Relevant experience in complex, cross-functional project or program management
  • Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations (Finance workstream strongly preferred)
  • Finance background (Accounting, FP&A, Finance Transformation, Shared Services, or similar)
  • Strong stakeholder management skills; ability to influence without authority
  • Experience operating in large, global organizations
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complexity into action

Preferred (but not required):

  • PMP, Prosci, Lean, Six Sigma, or similar certifications
  • MBA or relevant graduate degree
  • Experience working at the intersection of Finance + IT
