VP of Finance (fully remote) | Restaurant Investment and Operating Platform

A growing restaurant investment and operating platform is hiring a VP of Finance to lead and strengthen finance across a portfolio of established full-service and fast-casual brands.

This is a high-impact leadership role for a hands-on finance executive who can operate across audit, accounting, reporting, finance operations, and FP&A oversight in a lean, fast-moving environment. The company is scaling through a mix of organic growth, operational improvement, and strategic acquisitions, and this person will play a central role in building the financial infrastructure to support that growth.

You will partner closely with senior leadership, bring greater structure and accountability to core finance processes, and help translate financial information into better operating and strategic decisions across the platform.

What you’ll do

• Lead a broad set of finance and accounting responsibilities across a multi-brand restaurant portfolio
• Own the annual audit process across multiple entities, including external auditor management, internal coordination, and audit readiness
• Review accounting outputs and help ensure strong close, reporting, and financial discipline across the organization
• Oversee day-to-day finance operations and connect accounting, reporting, and business needs
• Guide budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting through internal FP&A resources
• Partner with senior leadership on business questions, strategic priorities, and ad hoc operational matters
• Help formalize processes, improve visibility, and build scalable finance infrastructure in a growing platform
• Serve as a cross-functional leader who can move fluidly between strategic oversight and hands-on execution

What we’re looking for

• Progressive experience across audit, accounting, finance, or broader finance leadership roles
• Strong experience managing external audits across multiple entities or operating businesses
• Meaningful experience in restaurants is required; multi-unit, hospitality, franchise, or consumer-facing operating environments are especially relevant
• Strong grounding in accounting, close, reporting, and financial analysis
• Experience overseeing or partnering closely with FP&A teams or resources
• Public accounting background strongly preferred; CPA is a plus
• Comfortable in a broad-scope role that includes both structured finance leadership and ad hoc business support
• Strong judgment, executive presence, and ability to work effectively in a lean, high-visibility environment

Compensation

• Base salary: depending on experience
• Annual bonus target: 20–25%
