Senior Accountant – Deal Lifecycle

A collaborative and rewarding alternative investment firm is hiring a Senior Accountant to join its team. This role is designed for someone who wants to build a career in private equity, credit, or alternative investments while working across the full lifecycle of investments. The position offers a unique blend of accounting, fund operations, transaction support, reporting, and analytical work, with exposure to senior stakeholders across finance, tax, legal, investor relations, and investment teams.

What you’ll be doing

• Support investment and entity activity from close through ongoing ownership and exit
• Help manage quarterly and annual reporting, audit support, reconciliations, and core accounting processes
• Assist with capital calls, distributions, cash activity, and other deal-related finance workflows
• Contribute to valuation support, portfolio reporting, and investment analysis
• Partner with internal teams and external providers on transaction execution, documentation, and reporting deliverables
• Take part in process improvement work to make reporting and finance operations more efficient and scalable
